DescriptionEnclosing a copy letter addressed to the National Health Commission, relative to a claim submitted to the Royal Commission on Awards, by Messrs. A.T. [Albert Theodore?] King, F.A. Mason and Samuel Barnett Schryver, for a reward in developing a new manufacturing process for the production of b-Eucaine. A letter from the Ministry of Health concluded that the Royal Society would be best placed to comment on the points raised. He asks for the Society's observations on the claim and whether the patent specifications demonstrate marked improvements in manufacturing of the anaesthetic and forwards supporting documents.
