DescriptionMusgrave describes three experiments carried out in June and July of 1683 where he injected various volumes of warm water into the thorax of a female greyhound. The water caused shortness of breath and fever, but the dog recovered within a week on each occasion. Musgrave speculates on how the water may have left the body.
