| Description | Houston describes a case of a woman who was at term and thought she had gone into labour, but whose uterus was completely closed off. Houston found that the foetus was located between the uterus and the intestines, and offered to attempt a surgical delivery, which was rejected by the woman. A year and a half later, the woman developed a large growth that she refused to have drained, and subsequently died. Houston performed the post-mortem and found the foetus. Also includes gives details of other similar cases, written in Latin.
