The Committee determined the principal stations of the Trigonometrical Survey at which it might be expedient to try the vibrations of the pendulum.

Resolved, ' That it is the opinon of this Commitee, that the pendulum should be carried to the Southern and Northern extremities of the line and such intermediate places as may hereafter be determined upon. '
