After inspecting the contents of the warehouse, the Committee resolved to recommend; 1. That the copies of the Philosophical Transactions from Vol 62 to Vol 84 inclusive be disposed of 2. That the 2,649 copies up to 1800 be also sold. 3. That the 300 copies of Dr Herschel's Catalogue be reserved 4. That the 800 imperfect and damaged copies of the Philosophical Transactions from 1750 to 1785 be sold 5. That the Index of the Philosophical Transactions be reserved 6. That such members of the Royal Society as are desirous of purchasing the Philosophical Transactions post 1800 be allowed to purchase one copy of each of the volumes at half price. 7. That the Copper Plates and the Impresions of them be reserved till the number of Impressions requisite for the completion of the retained copies of Transactions etc be ascertained. 8. That Mr Gilpens Tables be reserved 9. That the "Ombra di Pope " be disposed of 10. That the Tract on Gunnery be sold 11. That all the Instruments now in the Warehouse with the exception of the Magnetic Terella and Mr Knight's Magnets be disposed of, as well as the picture frames. 12. That such Manuscripts as are not on Philosophical Subjects be presented to the British Museum 13. That Mr Lee ' be desired to make enquiries of Mr Wood and Mr Nicol respecting the value of the copies of the Philosophical Transactions ordered to be disposed of, and of Mr Troughton and Mr Dollond relating to the Instruments. '
