Resolved;
1. ' That it be recommended to the Council to appoint Mr Panizzi of the British Museum to make a new Catalogue of the Scientific books in the Library of the Society arranged alphabetically, according to the heads and in the mode to be agreed upon by the Committee and including an alphabetical index of the names of the authors for which he is to be paid at the rate of Thirty pounds for every thousand titles he may so Catalogue, such remuneration not, however to exceed £500.
2. Report upon this resolution and including that formerly agreed to, drawn up and signed by the Chairman
3. Committee appointed for superintending the publication of the catalogue recommend to the Council to engage Mr Panizzi of the British Museum under the terms and conditions as in (1) above.
4. Books in the Arundel Library not on scientific subjects to be recommended for disposal
