Minutes of last meeting read and confirmed

Resolved;
1. Twenty copis of the proof sheets already set up of the Catalogue to be printed, after which the types may be distributed
2. To recommend to the Council ' to engage Mr Panizzi to prepare the titles of all the books of the Library on separate slips of paper, with the understanding that he shall be paid at the rate of ten pounds for every thousand titles as relate to books not coming under the former agreement.
3. Appears very desirable to the Committe that it will be very desirable to have a Catalogue of certain original manuscript Letters and Papers preserved in the Guard books in the possession of the Society and that the same be recommended to the consideration of the Council.
4. Mr Hudson to be directed to admit Mr Panizzi to the Library at all times when he may require it and afford him every facility in his power during the time he is making the Catalogue.
5. That Mr Panizzi having expressed a desire to have Mr Roberton's services, this Committee do not feel themselves authorised to recommend any measure to the Council calculated to increase the expence already contemplated.
6. That the Treasurer be requested to take such measures for the disposal of the Duplicate books received from the British Museum as to him may seem best.
7. The Treasurer be requested to write to Mr Bailhesa cancelling all orders for books which [he] has not already procured. '
