1. Minutes of last meeting
2. Letter of 20 May 1822 from Henry Canham, John Peake, William Hookey to the Navy Board, concerning the results of testing of casks and barrels on 6 April 1822. Also includes a table of the temperature of the Engine House
3. Letter of 23 May 1822 from N Seppings, J H Logge and Robert G Middleton to Sir Humphry Davy informing him tht the casks containing mixtures of Coal Tar, Sea Water, Shavings etc to be provided for experiment are now ready.

Results of the experiment ordered in the 30 March meeting have been examined, and resolved;
1. That the Committee are of the Opinion that in the said Experimetns no offensive effluvia have been produced by teh presence of Coal Tar.
2. That the Report from this Committee to be transmitted to the Council of the Royal Society. [Contents of Report listed, confirming ' that Coal Tar does not under any circumstances emit a vapour capable fo bing inflamed at Tempertures below 200 degrees which is about 100 degrees above the highest temperature to which a Ship is ever exposed ' ]
