Summary of Recommendation to Council
Minute 4(b) - that the Royal Society should adhere to the International Association of Geochemistry and Cosmochemistry through the Geochemistry and Cosmochemistry Subcommittee of the National Comm9ittee for Geology, and that the Council be asked to authorize payment of the annual subscription to the Association in the top category but onr of 180 dollars, commencing with 1968, at a unit of 30 dollars, the number of units to be paid being based on an estimate of the number of geochemists in the UK, ie 400. In view of the fact that there was as yet in the UK no national group of geochemists that could adhere to the Association it was hoped that Council would consider the recommendation sympathetically.
