The membership of the British National Committee for Geology for the period from 1 January 1961 to 31 December 1963 was noted [NGL/2 (61)].

24. Committee for the Co-ordination of Geophysical and Geological Work
Resolved - that it be a recommendation to Council thqt Professor L Hawkes, as chairman of the British National Committee for Geology, be added to the Committee.
