It was agreed to hold the next meeting in the autumn of 1973.

REcommendation;
Minute 6 (b) - That the terms of reference of the Nritish National Comittee for Geology be extended to embrace responsibility to act as the British NAtional Committee for the IGCP, and that, when so acting, its membership be extended to include the following reopresentatives of the Government departments concerned;
