b. Workshop on Application of groundwater geochemistry, Banff, 23-26 June 1984
c. Royal Society Discussion meeting on Geochemistry of buried sediments, 27-28 June 1984
d. Geochemistry and cosmochemistry sessions at the International Geological Congress, Moscow, 4-14 August 1984
e. Symposium on Geochemistry and health, at teh Royal Society 16-16 April 1985, being organized by Dr Thornton (and others) for the IAGC, and for which Dr Thornton was advised he could apply to the Royal Society's Travelling Expenses Committee for financial assistance for overseas speakers and British postgraduate students.
f. Symposium on Geochemical exploration, Toronto, 28 April -1 May 1985
g. Symposium on Potassic volcanism in different tectonic settings, Catania, 16-21 September 1985 (IAGC jopintly with IAVCEI)
