Secondly there is the question of provisionof research facilities which such scientist of the calibre required would need, and emphasizes the need for additional requirements in addition to basic minimum, and funds needed for equipment purchases. Considered an average grant of £3000 would be needed, and requests this is taken up with the Department of Technical Co-operation. If he is to put out a general advertisement in early December, he is requested to avoid committing the Royal Society. |
