Catalogue of Historic Scientific Instruments - Mr F R MAddison reported on teh different catalogues being produced internationally and outlined plans for the UK catalogue which would be a guide to the location of the instruments the informative index giving cross references to the locations where the collections were housed. Agreed the catalogue should include instruments used before 1930, and also a catalogue of certain historical instruments used in teh 20th century, eg by Lord Florey in connection with his wsork on penicillin, by Cockcroft and by Blackett.
