DescriptionGives account of the meetings, the delegates, the changes of Chairman, the procedures, and the motions. Foresaw that the Central Office of the Association must be at Strasburg. Objected to the ovewhelming delegates from Germany and the original proposals which gave disadvantage of such a dominating voice for a science in its infancy, but proposals dropped before the conference.

Memorandum sent to Strasburg on the general scope of the project in June at request of those convening the Conference. [CMB/12/2/1]

Discusses governance of the Association, and minimum income of £1000 a year. Convention proposed to be operative for twelve years from 1 April 1904. Subscription according to national population. General conferences to be held every four years. If Great Britain to join, should have a permanent delegate. Describes funciton of the permanent delegate.

Imperial Government to approach various states to conclude concentions. When this occurs the Royal Society will be consulted, and therefore propose to send copy of their report to the Royal Society.

Finance for Conference provided by the Imperial Government, and delegates received 'with greatest cordiality and hospitality'.
