Read the Council Resolution appointing the Committe, and the application of Mr Lockyer
Committee agreed a Report [wording given] in which they cannot justify such a large appropriation from the Government Grant as would be required for either of Mr Lockyer's proposals., and instead suggested improvements to his new spectrometer which might assist Mr Lockyer to continue his researches. |
