Excerpts from Minutes fo Council of 4 November read
Resolved;
1.' That the Report of Messr Ingleby and Munro on the Newton-Leibnits MSS in possession of the Royal Society with the appendix by Mr Rix, be placed in the hands of Dr Siemens for communication to the Academy of Sciences, Berlin, and that he be requested to inform the Academy that the Royal Society will be happy to give any gentleman,whom they may depute, access to the Manuscripts.
2. That the Council be recommended to award Mr Rix ten guineas, for the labour which he has bestowed in the preparation of hiw very careful Report. ' |
