3. Draft of suggested statutes drawn up by Treasurer laid before Committee and discussed [Printed copy pasted into minutes - refers to section of affiliated societies, and of the corresponding Fellows of the Society.]

4. Resolved that ' it is desirable that means be provided by which Societies in the Colonies or Dependencies of Great Britain, or in the United States fo AMerica, having the same objects and aims as the Royal Society may be brought into relation with it. After discussion the Secretary was requested to draw up an amended draft. ' [Printed copy of the draft pasted into the minutes]
