1. Read the minute of Council of 7 December 1893 appointing the Committee [Printed copy pasted into minutes]

2. Copy of the Memorial to the Council which led tot he appontment of the Committee, being on the table, was read [Printed copy pasted into the minutes]

3. Resolved;
3.1 That the President and Council be requested to give the Committee power to add to their number
3.2 That for the purposes of discussion in the Committee it be agreed that from the beginning of the coming century there should be international co-operation in the production of complete subject and authors catalogues of science.
3.3 That the President and Council be requested to authorise the Committee to enter directly into communication with Societies, Institutions, etc in this country and abroad with reference to the preparation of such catalogues of science by interantional co-operation, it being understood that such enquiries should in no way commit the Society to any definite course of action.
3.4 That for the preparation of such catalogues it would be necessary that a central office should be establilshed where all necesssary information would be collected and worked up.
3.5 That a draft circular letter be prepared, for consideration of the next meeting of the Committee to be addressed to Societies etc., abroad, inviting opinions on the subject of international co-operation in the preparation of catalogues of science and suggestions as to the mode of carrying out such a scheme.
3.6 That at the next meeting members of the Committee should be prepared with lists of Societies etc., to whom such a letter should be sent.

Committee adjourned until Wednesday 21 February 1894 at 2.30 pm
