Read minute of Council from meeting of 30 March 1916 that " the Executive Committee of the Council be reconstituted to consist of the Officers of the Society, and Professor Adami, Dr Dugald Clerk, Dr Fenton, Professor Starling and Mr Threlfall; to deal with questions arising out of the following regulations with regrd to Resserved Occupations and such other urgent matters as may arise. After discussion, decisions taken for applications for exemption from Military Service taken; persons considered were Mr Bradshaw; Mr Mummery; Mr Fitch; Mr Ogilvie; Mr Black; Mr Hamer; Mr Nicholls

Other cases of applications for exemption from Military Service considered and decisions taken; Mr Harding; Mr Slater; Mr R F Thompson; Mr Tonkin; Mr lilly

Agreed that Mr Threlfall be eequested to act as Co-Referee with Dr Frankland in all the cases of application for exemption from Military Service from Chemists, during Dr Schuster's absence
