That Dr Marton be informed that his suggestion for the formation of an Electron Physics Commission is supported by the British Natinal Committee for Physics, but an opinion was expressed that interactions of electrons with nuclei and emission of electrons from solids should be omitted.
b. That it be a recommendation to Council that no objection be raised to changes in the Statutes of the International Optical Commission proposed at the meeting of the Commission held on 31 March 1956 at Cambridge, Massachusetts. '
