Reverend John Roscoe attended

1. Minutes of the previous meeting read and confirmed

2. Reported that Mr H Wellcome had sent a donation of £20 to the Mackie Expedition Fund

3. Mr Roscoe reported on the arrangements made for the expedition which was due to sail on 15 April, and on which he had secured a free passage to Uganda.

4. Finance - Resolved;
4.1 £250 be placed on deposit for the payment of Nr Roscoe's locum tenens stipend
4.2 £500 be placed on deposit in Mr Roscoe's bank on account of the expedition for Mr Roscoe to draw upon

5. Obtaining a letter of recommendation from the Colonial Office to the Colonial Governors and other Government officials for Mr Roscoe's visit to be sought by Sir Everard im Thurn.

6. Mr Roscoe to send in progress reports describing the results of his investigation into conditions of the various tribes, and copies of the photographs taken; these to be sent by the Chairman to "Man" for publication. Agreed any skulls obtained to be sent to the Royal College of Surgeons to Dr Keith, who undertook to distribute them.
