Dr Merret and Dr Clark were sworn Members of the Council.
Ordered that the Operator Richard Shortgrave no longer brings in a bill of accounts about his work for the Society without some voucher, which being a Curator of the respective experiments he shall have been employed about, and that wuithour such a voucher no part of his account shall pass in Council.
The Operator was called in and informed of this order.
Ordered that Sir Paul Neile and Mr Oldenburg be added to the Committee appointed December 4th last to consider the Supplemental Charter, and that this Commmittee upon the occasion of Mr Palmer's death, take into their consideration the Statute concerning the manner of Electing a New Member into the Council, in case of vacancy in the intervals of the Anniversary Elections. |
