The form of the new Subscription was agreed upon (wording given)

Mr Hooks Discourse concerning Animadversions upon Hovely his Machina Coelistis was licensed.

The Transactions of No. 107 were licensed.

Sir Robert Southwell redelivered the Declaration formerly drawn up for the new regulation of he Society, after he had read it to the Lord Keeper, who approved it and expressed his willingness to serve the Societey and particularly with respect to his Majesty.

Council thanked Sir Robert Southwell for his care and for procuring for them from the Attorney General the legal form of Subscription; he was also asked to assure the Lord Keeper and the Attorney General of the Council's appreciation of their favour to the Society.

Sir William Petty proposed in writing several ways of investing the £400 legacy by purchasing propoerty - his suggestions listed. Mr Hook was asked to view the property suggested by Sir William Petty in Hog Lane near Long Alley in Moorfields before the next meeting, to establish whether the house was in good repair and likely to be tenanted.

Sir William Petty was asked to employ Mr Barrow the Picture drawer to collect the arrears due to the Roay Society. Sir William and Mr Hoskins to jointly take a good security form Mr Barrow, and then direct him to Mr Daniel Colwall to receive instrucitons to render the business effective, and particularly to furnish him with power of collecting the arrears in his name, according to a former Order of Council of 5 February 1673/4.

Memorandum that at the next meeting of the Council they will consider what persone will be desired to entertain the Society next month (December).

Memorandum that those intentions of the Council mentioned in the Summons of the Society to return to their meetings, are chiefly, that there is now a legal Subscription and a declaration, both subscribed by the Council, and some of the other members of the Society

Ordered that 250 copies to be printed of the new form of Subscription, if possible by next Thursday.
