Debated the propositions made by Mr Frobert concerning Chelsey College which were accepted. namely The house and five acres whereon Chelsey College stands ahall be let by Lease for 41 years to such persons as shall be ready, and deposit the sum of money required at the anual rent of thirty pounds. Mr Frobert to be acquainted with this.
Ordered care to be taken with this conveyance from the Society and that Sir John Hoskins to be consulted.
Ordered a letter shold be sent to the Presidentto inform him of this roceeding and to ask his assistance.
Desired that [Fellows?] should seek to find among their acquaintences persons who could advance the necessary money to complete the work as it shall be desired. |
