Ordered the Secretary to draft a Diploma testifying strangers to have been elected into the Society
A draft of a Statute, dispensing with Foreigners, elected into the Society as to their subscription and admission, was read and passed the first time.Text as follows;
' When any person, residing in remote or Forreign parts, shall be elected into the Society, in the due and accustomed forme and manner, the said person shall be registered among the Fellows of the Society, and be reputed a Fellow thereof, without Subscription and admission in the usuall forme; anything contained in the Statutes requiring Subscription and admission, to the contrary notwithstanding: And the said person may have an Instrument under the Seal of the Society, testifying him to be elected and reputed a Fellow of the Society accordingly. '
Ordered the Clerk to call upon the Printers of the Society, to bring in their Bill for printing the Lists of the Fellows of the Society
Ordered the Treasurer pay the Operator the arrears of his last year's salary
The President, Sir Robert Moray and Dr Wilkins were asked to visit the ground belonging to Chelsey [Chelsea] College, and to establish how it lies.
Ordered Dr Wilkins ask the Bishopf of Exeter to enquire ' what the Dean of Pauls pretends as to Chelsey-college'.
Ordered the Secretaries to ask Mr Boyle to find out from the Lord Privy Seal, why his Majesty's Grant of Chelsea College to Mr Sutclif has been stopped; what he thinks of the causes alledged by the Petitioners for stopping the Grant; and what he thinks of the King's power of giving away Chelsea College and dissolving that corporation
