' Dr Hook and Mr Pittfield were Chosen to be Auditors of the Treasurers Accounts.
Mr Petty Mr Charles Bernard and Mr Newy were proposed candidates to be Elected fellows of the Society and Severally approved of by ballotting.
Mr Hunt was proposed to be Library keeper, he was Chosen and Ordered to take care that all bookes presented to the Society or bought by them should be put up and Entred in a book, and not lent without Bond, as usuall after leave obtained by them from the Society, and that he should observe the other rules to be observed by the Library keeper.
It was ordered that Malpighi's Opera Posthuma should be presented to the President, Mr Bauval, Mr Witsen, Mr Zulichem Lewenhoek Merchant Dr Hook and Dr Sloane and the Library, and that 20 Copies should be sent to Bonfigliolo for the use of himselfe and Malpighis freinds, the remainder of them to be kept for further Order by Mr Hunt.
It was ordered that the Copies of Malpighis works which Mr Churchill had agreed with some of the Councell of the Society for , should be dellivered to Mr Hunt to be sold at the Current Price and the agreement with Mr Churchill for the fish books was confirmed as it was drawn up by Mr Halley.
It was Ordered that even those papers printed in the Transactions should be registred and entred in the Letter Books.
Mr Hunts half years Salary from 14 January to 14 July was by the Vice President Ordered to be paid him. ' |
