' Mr Fellows, Mr Annesley, Dr Arbutnot, Mr Clavell and Mr Took were proposed balloted for and approved of to be members of the Society.
The President and Secretary were desired to wait on the Prince with the Statute book of the Society to have the honour of his subscription, and the President was desired to desire such of the Members of the Society to attend him as he pleased.
Mr Hunt was ordered to be paid his Salary viz : £20 ending the 14th of July 1704.
Mr Wansley was ordered fifteen pounds for his Salary for a Year for writeing the books and attending the Society last year.
Mr Took was ordered £4 for half a years rent for the meeting Room of the Socirety.
Dr Tyson, Mr Hill, and Dr Hutton were proposed and chosen auditors of the accounts.
Dr Woodward presented from Dr Scheuchzer a second disquisition in a Journey to the Alps. Mr Waller, Dr Sloane, and Mr Petiver were desired to peruse this book and give an account of it to the Society. Upon which the Society would appoint a letter to be wrote to him encouraging the worke as it shall deserve. In the meane time the Secretary was ordered to write a Letter to Dr Aglionby to Dr Scheuzer thanking him for his present. ' |
