' The Minutes of the former Council being read
Mr Waller said the Letter ordered to Mr Flamstead had been wrote and carryed to him by Mr Thomas. Mr Flamsteads answer was that he would Comply with the Society's order as is entered in the Journal of the meetings.
Ordered that the Treasurer receive the Rents due to the Society from Mr Clements, Mr Hill and Mrs Faulkoner and that Mrs Faulkoner be allowed 30 shillings for the Partition left by her in the House and that the Partition be entered in the Schedule of Mr Hill's Lease.
Ordered that the Treasurer pay to the Bricklayers Widdow seven pounds as a farther part of her Bill taking her receipt on the said Bill.
And that the rest of the workmens Bill as soon as they are adjusted.
Ordered that the windows of the House be mended.
Ordered that Mr Wallere and Mr Thomas procure a workman to contrive the best way of preventing the rain water falling on the Garden from sinking down to the foundation of the house.
Resolved that the Society are willing to contribute their Proportion towards the maintaining of a Watchman to watch constantly every night in this Court. ' |
