' The President put the Council in mind again of Mr Kecks Legacy and recommended to them to Consider Some way to employ it Safely to advantage, and in the Mean time proposed to have the Said money lock't up in the Great Iron chest under three keys; whereupon Mr Thomas was ordered to gett the Chest ready for that purpose and See that the Locks be mended or new ones bought if need be.
A Committee was appointed for Auditing the Treasurers Accounts for the present year on the part of the Council. The President and one Secretary Mr Bussiere, Mr Folkes, and Dr Sherard.
The following Gentlemen were putt to the Ballot for the Approbation of the Council and were approved for Candidates; Mr Samuell Harris, Charles Taylor Esq, Mr Dickins Sergeant Surgeon, Mr Robert Hucks, Mr John Phillip Borneman.
A Bill was brought in by Mr Thomas for Charges and Expences to Midsummer last Amounting to £57-2-6d which was examined and allowed. ' |
