' Ordered that two Books de Piscibus be delivered to Mr Hook to send into Holland to a Bookseller there: the value to be returned in the Hortus Malabaricus or such other Books as Mr Hook shall think fitt.

The Question being put, concerning E. Halleys Salary; the gratuity above fifty pounds a year to him was remitted to the Councells further consideration : in the mean time it was determined bny Ballot that the Treasurer should pay him £50 for the last years Salary.
Mr Fatio de Duillier was proposed as a Candidate by Sir John Hoskins, and approved.
The Question being put whether Mr Hooks order for his Salary made June 16th 1686 should be paid before any other orders made since then, either for Salarys or Gratuities : Upon Balloting it was carried in the Affirmative. ' |
