' The Committee appointed to inspect the House in order to the enlarging the Meeting Room, reported that Mr Gibbs the Architect has inspected it with them, and having given his Opinion that it would be no detriment to the House, did at the desire of the Committee deliver in a plan, which was Shewn to the Council and approved off.
Ordered, that the Committee be desired to Set proper Workmen about it, and to do anything Else that they think Necessary for the more comodius meetings of the Society and to get the Whole finished with all possible Expedition.
Ordered that Mr Hauksbee do pay to Dr Desaguilliers the Sum of thirty pounds for his Annual Gratuity for his Experiments made the last year, and five pounds more for Sir Godfrey Copleys Experiment. ' |
