The President acquainted the Council that the Several things mentioned in teh last Minutes to be done in the recess of the Society were performed.
The President proposed that £60 be given to each Secretary as a gratuity for the last year. Ballotted for and Ordered.
The President also proposed that a present be made to each Secretary of Ten Guiineas for extraordinary trouble thsi lat year. Ordered.
Mr Hauksbees bill for £36.10.0 wasd ballotted for and Ordered to be paid.
A Bill of Mr Woodward and Davis the Societies Printers for £10.4.0 Ordered to be paid.
Ordered that the Secretary do Send the Philosophical Transactions as they come out from time to time to Abbate Revillas at Rome beginning from the last Sent to Sir Thomas Derham.
Mr Vaillante's bill for compleating the History of the Academy of Sciences the Amsterdam Edition of £10.3.0 was Ordered to be paid.
Several Expences the President had been at the past year amounting to £6.16.0 was ordered to be paid.
A Gold Medal wa Ordered to be taken out of the Chest in Order to have Mr Watsons Name engraved on it Sir Hans Sloane Bart having Ordered the Medal to him for the last Year for his Exeriments on Electrivity.
The President presented a proposal from Mr Collinson on behalf of Mr Trawconer [?] who desired to have his bond given up on condition of his making up his former paymentes to £25 but it appearing that more was due from him than the difference of his prmere payments to £25. it wa not complied with.
Lord Charles Cavendish Mr Mann and Mr Jones were chosen Auditors by ballot on the part fo the Council.
Mr Zollmans Sallary of £20 for the last year was Ordered to be paid. |
