' The Lord Percivale took the oath for the Council.
Dr De Castro, Dr Frobenius, Dr Hampe and Mr Moore were Severally put to the Ballot and were approved as Candidates for Election.
Ordered That the form of the Bond for Contributions be altered by incerting after the Word Heirs, the Words Executors, Administrators or Assigns.
The State of the Treasurers Accompts, and the Arrears due from many Members of the Society for their Weekly Payments, being taken into Consideration; the Council, for the More Speedy bringing in the Said Arrears, and the more perfect Settlement of the Accompts, did, after Some Debates, unanimously agree to the following Resolutions.
That every Member who hath already paid in his Contributions to the Amount of Twenty - four pounds or upwards, or who shall pay in or make up the Said Sum (exclusive of his Admission fee) on or before the first Day of May next 1730 ; may have liberty to take up his Bond, and be exempted from future Weekly Payments, upon his further advancing to the Treasurer of the Society, or his Order, one years Contributions on or before the Said first day of May.
That every Member who hath already paid in his Contributions to the Amount of Twenty Pounds, or who Shall pay in or make up the Said Sum of Twenty Pounds (exclusive of his Admission Fee) or or before the Said first Day of May ; may have Liberty to take up his Bond, and be exempted from future Weekly Payments, upon his further advancing to the Treasurer of the Society, or his Order, the Sum of five Pounds on or before the Said first Day of May.
And that the Terms hereby Offered might be made as equal as could well be, it was further resolved, That every Member who Shall be of less than three Years Standing in the Society on the first Day of May next, may have Liberty to take up his Bond, and be exempted from future Weekly Payments, upon his paying or making up on or before the Said Day, to the Treasurer of the Society or his Order, exclusive of his Admission Fee the Sum of Twenty Pounds, over and above two third Parts of his weekly Contributions from the Time of his Admission into the Society.
And Lastly it was resolved That every Member in Arrear of Contributions above Two Years to the 30th of November last 1729, who Shall Neglect to discharge his Said Arrear before the above mentioned first day of May next 1730 ; Shall be proceeded against, and be ejected according to the Statutes concerning the Payments to the Society.
Ordered That these Resolutions be printed, and that a Copy thereof be Sent be the Clerk to every Member of the Society, with a Letter Notifying his Arrears to the 30th Day of November last.
