A Letter from Dr Desaguliers concerning the Experiments performed by him this last year was read.
Whereupon it being moved that an allowance of twenty Pounds be made to him for his Trouble and Charge therein : the said Sum was put to the Ballot, agreed to, and ordered to be paid.
A Bill of Dr Stack amounting to £24.9.11 for copying and translating Papers was put to the Ballot, and ordered to be paid.
Mr Hauksbee's Bill for copying the Minutes amounting to £9.16.0. was also agreed to by Ballot and ordered to be paid.
Ordered, that Doctor Stack do take care to procure the Duplicates of the Journal Books, Letter Books and Register Books to be bound, and packed up in Boxes, and be sent to the President's House.
It being moved that further time might be granted to compound for the Arrears and Contributions, to such Members as are disposed to accept of the Terms formerly granted.
It was ordered, upon an agreement by Ballot, that any Member may have leave to discharge his Arrears and his Bond for future Contributions, upon the payment of so much as shall make up his former payments to the Sum of £25. between this and Michaelmass next. ' |
