Mr Davall confirmed the Directors of the East India Company had promised to make it a part of their orders to their Governor and Council at Bencoolen [Bengkulu, Sumatra, Indonesia] regarding supplies of money

Lord Charles Cavendish, Mr Davall and Mr Mead appointed by ballot as auditors of the annual accounts

Treasurer ordered after a ballot to pay;
1. £60 to each of the two Secretaries as annual salary, and ten guineas as a gratuity
2. £20 to Dr Parsons as salary as Assistant to the Secretaries for Foreign Correspondence; and £40-7-6 to Mr Hauksbee for his bill
3. £15 to Mr Davall, to Mr Robert Waddington for his stores of liquor at St Helena; and £20 as advance for part of his gratuity stipulated for the voyage. Receipt given by Mr Waddington.
