£758-16-0 received from his Majesty ' for the purpose of defraying the expences of the Observations of the late Transit of Venus' reported by Peter Davall, and therefore sales of stock now unnecessary

Resolved, Peter Davall to pay the bills and gratuities of the Society's late Observers, the Rev Mr Maskelyne and Messieurs Mason and Dixon
