Minutes of the last council meeting on 6 January 1748 were read.

Confirmation by Mr Hauksbee of the annuities being transferred to the Society; and by the President of the return of the Chelsea Physic Garden Deed.

Discussion of proposal from Mrs Mazal to become the Society's tenant in Coleman Street, including alterations required, which were accepted and leases ordered to be prepared y Mr Tyler.

Discussion of Mr Hauksbee's half year slary bill of £25, and printers bill of £5.19.0d which ordered to be paid.

Discussed striking 12 new dies for Copley medal by the President.

Ordered, picture of Sir Joseph Williamson be delivered to Nicholas Mann; and that names of persons in the Society's pictures be put to those that are missing; and Dr Mortimer delivered his keys to the Society's strongbox and the closet where the Society's Journal Books are stored to Mr Davall.
