DescriptionPresent at the meeting: The Right Honourable the Earl of Macclesfield, President; and the following members fo the old council, Lord Willoughby of Parham, James Burrow Esq, Dr James Bradey, James West Esq, Dr John Ward, Mr Watson, and the Reverend Mr Birch , Secretary.

The Earl of Macclesfield took the Oath of Office as President, and the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy before the seven Members of the Old Council then present.

Lord Bishop of Banger, Samuel Clarke Esq, James Parsons MD, Dr Richard Roderick MA, Mr Samuel Sharp, Mr Short, The Honourable Philip Yorke Esq and Dr John Pringle took the Oath of Office as Members of the new Council

The President ' executed an Instrument, under his hand and Seal, bearing date this day, appointing the Lord Willoughby of Parham, James West Esq, Dr John Ward and James Burrow Esq to be Vice Presidents in his absence. Then the said four Gentlemen took the Oath of Office as Vice Presidents and the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy. '
