Resolved by ballot unanimously;
1. One or more astronomical observers be sought out and engaged to observe the next Transit of Venus in 1769
2. Roger Boscovitz FRS and Professor of Mathematics at Pavia, to be one of the observers, and president to write to him
3. Instruments belonging to the Society ordered for the 1761 Transit to be ordered home to th Society's house
4. Volumes of Transactions to be delivered to the Earl of Shaftesbury and Dr Nicolls
5. Mr Kirkby the Solicitor to enquire of the executors of the late John Earl of Orrery for payment of his arrears on his bond
6. Treasurer to pay bills of Emanuel Mendes da Costa for half a year's salary due 30 May 1766; and for copying journals for the President; to Samuel Bevington for sudries. Total £78-2-0d`
