Mr Kirkby reported that the executor to John late Lord Orrery is Edmund Earl of Orrery, currently travelling.

Resolved; President to mention to Father Boscowitz [Boscovich] that he will be provided with proper instruments and his expenses defrayed, and he will have an assistant of his own choice to accompany him.

Letter read from the Honourable Mr Cavendish to the President of 9 June 1766 relating to the obsservation of the transit of Venus in 1769 [content not listed]

Ordered the Society's books be examined concerning the agreement with the Society's printers

Dr Maty to ask Mr Edwards to contact Mr Millar concerning the engraving of the bird called Argos and if it cannot be found replacing it,

Ordered by ballot the Treasurer to pay two bills of Mr da Costa for copying Journals and Dr Hope's charge for the plate of the rhubarb
