' The Minutes of the last Council were read.

The President acquainted the Council, that he had seen the Danish Minister, who had engaged to wwrite immediately to his Court; and had no doubt but the King of Denmark would give the most ample orders to protect and assist the Society's observers; and to forward the business upon which they are sent : And with respect to the information, had referred him to the Danish Consul, Mr de Passou, who has resided at Wardhuys, and now attended the Council.

Mr de Pasxsou the Danish resident was accordingly called in, and conferred with the Council, and Captain Douglas, who was also present, concerning the particulars witrhin his knowledge.

Ordered. That Dr Canoane FRS upon paying up his arrears, have the volume of transactions of the year 1766, which he has not yet received.

Mr Riz being applied to by Mr Robertson for the payment of his arrears, has answered, that the delay had been owing to a disappointment in the receipt of Money, but it shall be his first care to discharge when iin his power. '
