Selection of candidates for the Fellowship considered and those selected by ballot listed with the Secretary instructed to communicate this to The Times. H. G. Seeley appointed to deliver the Croonian Lecture. J. J. Thompson to the Bakerian Lecture. Report of the Committee appointed to consider the application of Dr. R. von Ledenfeld, recommending that the monograph on Australian horny sponges be published as an independent volume, the cost of plates not to exceed £300: resolved that publication should proceed with a supervising committee and that the offer of the Australian Museum to purchase 50 copies be accepted. Correspondence on a legacy of £2,000 by R. C. Carrington left to the Royal Society: Treasurer recommending that £30 annually should be paid to David Carrington during his lifetime. £25 from the Donation Fund granted to Professor Pritchard for stellar photography, on an application by Warren de la Rue. £35 from the Donation Fund to Dr. Cash for research into intestinal rest and movement. Leave for electrotypes of illustrations to be taken by various authors. The Officers requested to take steps to present an address to the Queen on the occasion of her jubilee.
