Although not listed in the contents, the file also includes a patent specification in the names of John Warcup Cornforth and David Long for work carried out at the National Insitute of Medical Research, lecture notes on the work at the NIMR and correspondence. Some of the letters concern the possibility of establishing a lab that would allow John Cornforth to continue collaboration with George Popjak. This eventually happened under Shell at Milstead, rather than under the National Institute of Medical Research.
