The file includes a copy of an obituary in the Guardian Newspaper of Philip D'arcy Hart, who worked extensively in this area and applied for joint patents with John W Cornforth, as well as Gordon A Nicholls and Richard J W Rees, when they worked together for the Medical Research Council. Those patent specifications and application information is in this file, as well as correspondence on macorcyclon work dating from 1951 - 1995. Alongside these papers, are copies of reports, and experimental notes kept by John Cornforth (but also including details of work done by others) during the 1950s. |
