This Gentleman being recommended in a Letter from Sr John Shadwell, as a very ingenious & worthy person, both from his own knowledge & at the request of the Lord Walgrave & the Popes Nuntio at Paris: & he himself humbly beseeching to be received into the Royal Society, we join in the Same recommendation thinking he will be a very usefull Member. |
