Citation | Monsieur Bouguer, Of the Royal Academy of Sciences at Paris, and one of the Gentlemen who were Sent by the king to make Astronomical Observations &c in South America, being desirous to offer himself a Candidate for Election into this Royal Society. We do Accordingly propose him, and hereby recommend him, as a Gentn of distingushed merit and Learning, who has by his Writings eminently promoted Natural and Philosophical knowledge, and one who is therefore every way well qualified to be a usefull and Valuable Member of our Society. |
