Citation | Dr Robert Whytt Professor of Medicine in the University of Edinburgh, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in that City and Author of a Paper, inserted in the medical Essays intituled an Essay towards the discovery of a Safe Medicine for dissolving the Stone, & also of a late Treatise on the Vital & other involuntary Motions of Animals; being desirous of the honour of being admitted a Fellow of the Royal Society; We, whose Names are under-written, do from our personal acquaintance or correspondance with that Gentleman, and from the Merit of what he has already published, freely recommend him as a person every Way qualified for becoming an usefull Member of that Body. |
