| Citation | The Rev Mr Alexander Genevois Minister of the Gospel, at Burtigny in Switzerland, now in London and distinguish'd by his knowledge of Mechanicks and experimental Philosophy, which have deservedly merited to him the esteem and encouragement of some Men of the greatest fame in Europe, being desirous of the honour of becoming a Member of the Royal Society, to whom he soon intends to present some pieces of his composition, we, upon our personal knowledge of him, beg leave to recommend him as highly deserving that honour, and likely to contribute to the true ends of this Society |
