Consulting Electrician to the Electric & International Telegraph Co; Author of many inventions in connexion with the Electric Telegraph, especially in reference to the difficulties arising from Electro-static Induction in long Submarine Cables, & for overcoming the difficulties produced by Earth currents. The Atlantic Cables were manufactured & tested under his superintendence. Distinguished as an Electrician & Telegraphic Engineer. |
